Complex corporate software projects always require the combination of different products and teams. When an organisation implements an electronic document management system, it is important to think in advance about how it will exchange data with other solutions. Let's examine the components of such projects using examples of IQusion company agreements.
Integration components of implementation
In the autumn of 2026, IQusion announced two projects that include setting up data exchange. In the September example, the company is supplying an EDMS for 30 workstations along with a connection module to the electronic interaction system of executive authorities (SEV OVV). In addition to the software, the contract includes system setup and user training.
The October announcement describes a different scope: a system for 250 users and one organisational license for the data exchange subsystem. IQusion highlights system integration as a separate service area. In each project, the list of connections and the criteria for successful exchange are determined individually.
How to prepare for data exchange
For documents to move correctly between different components of the IT infrastructure, they must have a clearly defined status and confirmation of the transfer result. When planning implementation, several key things should be considered.
First, a connection map must be created. It will help to see all technical dependencies between systems. Next, data owners for each component should be identified to understand who is responsible for the accuracy of the information. Finally, it is important to agree on the procedure for joint acceptance of work when different development teams or integrators are involved in the project. This will help to avoid misunderstandings at the launch stage.
