Qualified Electronic Signature: Key Aspects for Ukrainian Business

According to Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 749, state bodies, enterprises, and institutions of state ownership, as well as notaries and state registrars, are obliged to use QES keys exclusively on secure media. At the same time, commercial organizations have the right to independently choose how to store their keys (e.g., on a PC hard drive or a flash drive), unless otherwise stipulated by amendments to the legislation on electronic trust services.
