E-Document Flow in HR: Benefits and Challenges for Ukrainian Business

The publication Deals has released an article based on discussions from an Intecracy Deals webinar focused on optimizing HR record-keeping through electronic document management (EDM). The event, featuring attorney Kyrylo Kazak, a partner at “KPD Consulting” Law Firm, highlighted effective tools and approaches for managing HR documents electronically.

The article emphasizes that transitioning to EDM in HR offers several significant benefits. The article draws attention to the current regulatory framework, specifically the Labor Code of Ukraine, and the laws “On Electronic Documents and Electronic Document Management” and “On Electronic Trust Services.” Changes to the procedures for working with electronic documents, which have simplified the approval of electronic HR documents and allowed some to be maintained exclusively in electronic form, are also discussed, although the issue of duplicating certain documents on paper remains relevant.
