Idea Bank Automates Document Flow with Scriptum
InBase reports on Idea Bank’s successful implementation of the Scriptum electronic document management system.
InBase has published an article detailing Idea Bank’s experience implementing an electronic document management system. The bank selected Scriptum, a solution developed by the Ukrainian IT company Intecracy Base, to automate its office administration and enhance productivity across all its divisions and branches. This case study highlights practical steps towards paperless operations and the digitalization of key business processes.
The automation project spanned nine months. During this period, the bank’s and the developer’s teams analyzed existing business processes, developed a target model, and outlined a digitalization strategy. As a result, the processing of incoming, outgoing, and internal correspondence was fully automated for all bank employees and its branches.
Key Implementation Results:
- The bank’s business processes were simplified and optimized.
- Paper usage decreased sixfold.
- Document processing time was reduced, and work efficiency increased.
- The use of qualified electronic signatures (QES) was introduced, granting legal validity to electronic documents.
- The quality of interaction and communication between departments improved.
This experience can be valuable for Ukrainian businesses and the Intecracy Group audience for several reasons. Firstly, it demonstrates a tangible opportunity to significantly reduce paper costs and boost operational efficiency. Secondly, the implementation of QES ensures legal compliance and security for electronic document flow, which is critical in today’s environment. Thirdly, Idea Bank’s case illustrates a phased approach to full digitalization, enabling the scaling of solutions to other business processes, including interactions with contractors and clients.
